Third Annual Report

Written by on September 2, 2022

Stirling Community Media, the Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) which operates CastleSound radio and Media Matters skills project, held its third annual general meeting on 30 August 2022. The Trustees Annual Report incorporating the financial statements and independent examiner’s report for the period to 30 November 2021 is available for download here.

An eventful year that saw the charity emerge from pandemic lockdowns to get back on its feet and then face a re-branding and refurbishment by the end of the year. Excellent fundraising through commercial sponsorship, Kiltwalk and grants from the Awards for All and Stirling Council, saw the charity on a firm financial footing.

We bade farewell to Lauren McQuade, Janice Russell, Dave McIntosh and Fraser Johnstone as Trustees and welcomed the (re-)election of  Bruce Tait, Geoff Leask, Veronica Kerrigan, Ryan Cotter, Cath Morrison and Grant Thoms.
